Poop&Pee is a tool designed to assist in the diagnosis and therapeutic management of chronic incontinence, whether of rare origin or not. It is a digital calendar for tracking bowel and urine movements combined with recording the intake of food and beverages by the patient. These pieces of information are transmitted to the attending physician who can remotely monitor the data.

To use the tool, the patient enters information regarding their cleanliness (bowel and urine movements) and meal intake (drinks and foods) via the mobile or web application. The physician overseeing their care accesses this data in graphical form through a secure web platform.

The objectives of this tool aim to refine the diagnosis in order to adopt the best therapeutic strategy, provide better patient care based on reliable history, and thereby enhance their quality of life.

It focuses on three major aspects:

• EDUCATING by encouraging the patient to take an active role in their health
• FACILITATING patient data collection by eliminating the need for paper calendars
• ANALYZING by personalizing data presentation according to the pathology

The application is offered by the rare diseases healthcare network NeuroSphinx, a public institution that coordinates care for rare pelvic and spinal malformations with sphincter involvement. NeuroSphinx is hosted by Necker - Enfants Malades Hospital.
